Samsung SDS is looking for a detail orientated claims specialist who will be responsible for coordinating and maintaining an overview of claims by receiving, analyzing and taking necessary actions to process and resolve claims. Please note, a high level of Dutch is required for the position.

Purpose of the job

You'll be responsible for claims resolvement by ensuring correct and timely follow up together with all the relevant stakeholders. Acting as the primary contact for warehouse and logistic service providers in order to collect, maintain and follow up on claims, effective communication is key. Furthermore you'll engage in:

• Gathering and registering appropriate information and documentation in order to determine the legitimacy of a claim
• Investigating of received claims
• Creating and sending of liability letters in order to start the settling process between costumer, logistics provider and insurance.
• Administration of claims in SDS internal systems 
• Ensuring on time payment of compensation 
• Analysing and monitoring claims in order to define problem areas and suggest both short and long term solutions
• Escalating substantial claims to Head of Department 

Profile

As our claim specialist, we expect you to be detailed, precise and communicative. Furthermore we're looking for someone who is able to:

• Communicate in English on a professional level (Dutch is considered an advantage, not mandatory)
• 1-3 years of working experience in a claims environment, preferably in logistics
• Prioritize and act accordingly
• Deep dive into a case to find all relevant details
• Resolve conflicts adequate 
• Navigate Excel and/or logistics management systems with ease
